I hold an MA in philosophy and a minor in psychology.
I have practiced yoga and meditation since 1985 and have during this period developed the concept of Meditation as an Art of Life, which I have written eight books on.
Today I travel around in the world as a Philosophical Globetrotter, Life Artist and Idler. I campaign against the work ethics and promote liberty, autonomy and responsibility; in reality: the fine art of doing nothing. In this I take an anarchic approach to the everyday barriers that come between us and our dreams. So I´m in for spiritual anarchism, civil disobedience, and the right to be an idler.
When I don´t travel I live in Rold Forest, Denmark - meditating, writing and hiking. In the woods I also offer philosophical counseling and cafés. This happens in connection with hiking or other events.
I also offer philosophical counseling and cafés in the virtual world Second Life.
My first question to all people are always: What kind of philosophy of life would you choose if money was no object?
My own way of living is based on Gift Economy.
Read more about me in my article The Hermeneutics of Suspicion (the thought police of the self-help industry) and why I am an apostle of loafing - especially in the part I call Why I am an apostle of loafing.
If you want to get a short overview of my teaching you should do so by reading the short descriptions of my books, articles and links to other websites than my own (the links are actually quite important in order to get the full overview).
If you want to begin to practice my teaching you should begin by practicing the supporting exercises in my first book Meditation as an Art of Life - a basic reader (free download). Focus on yoga, Relaxationmeditation and Harameditation, and only keep the other exercises in mind. The most important is the development of Hara, which is fundamental to all wisdom traditions and natural healing professions.
All my different kinds of writings - and also philosophical counseling and/or cafés - I call The Peter Pan Project
And let me end this introduction with something I already stated in the introduction to my book Dream Yoga:
I will emphasize, that I am writing about these issues as a philosopher (a lover of wisdom, one who seeks wisdom, but who has not yet found it) – and not a sage (guru/enlightened master). I have experiences with a spiritual crisis though, and it is this, combined with intense studies of what the wisdom traditions have to say about these issues, that inspire me to write. My writings are also part of my philosophical diary, and therefore my own realization-work.
I will also emphasize, that my teaching is supposed to help people develop their own teaching, to become a light for themselves, where they now happens to stand. My teaching should therefore not be treated as an authority/conclusion, but only as “a finger pointing at the moon.”

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
I have no view of my own. My critical arguments are simply reduction to absurdity of the views ignorance has created.
